What is Fascia?
The fascia system is highly sophisticated and is mapped with exquisite cellular intelligence programmed to regulate the living structure of the body.
Since this connective tissue matrix wraps around every single part, from your cells and blood vessels, to your bones and muscles, all the way to your organs and brain, it is your whole body and is what connects one cell to all other cells.
Fascia researchers say the fascia exists because your cells exist and they need a structure to hold them and give them form.
We now know that your cells also have a layer of fascia called the cytoplasm (?) that is changes in its form and shape based on the shape and form of the fascia.
This is very exciting in that we can manipulate the shape, form, and energetic expression of the fascia, to influence the inner workings of the cell.
Just like our fascia, when there is tensioning in the system, energy cannot flow, which signals a dysregulated nervous system or energy body.
For an expression of health and well-being (mind-body connection), there must be communication within the cellular network and the intelligent systems of the body.
Fascia is considered to be:
